Job title: Health Safety Trainer

Fixed Term Contract 12 months

Location: Flexible however must be willing to travel across England and Wales  

 

Salary: £38,000 to £42,000 Dependant on experience

Vivo have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Trainer to join the Vivo team. This role involves travelling across England and Wales so the willingness to travel is a must.

 

What you'll need to do the role:

 

The Health and Safety trainer will be responsible for the delivery of Health & Safety Training across VIVO. This role will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of a multi-faceted, multi-channel suite of training and development materials, on topics such as CDM Regulations, Fire Safety, Temporary Works, Asbestos and others as defined by VIVO's Safety Training Matrix.

 

 

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Design and deliver Health & Safety Training packages outlined in the VIVO Safety Training Matrix
  • Engage with the VIVO L&D Business Partner (Safety) and the VIVO Safety Team to ensure that all Health & Safety training reflects VIVO's Policies and Procedures, the relevant Approved Codes of Practices (ACOPs), MOD Joint Service Publications (JSPs) and latest HSE regulations and legislation.
  • Develop innovative ways to deliver Safety training, driving up both accessibility and engagement across the whole organisation and Supply Partners.
  • Maintain training records for all training delivered and ensure these are shared centrally with the L&D Team.
  • Collect feedback from all training delivered and ensure this is shared centrally with the L&D team.
  • Follow the rules and guidelines set out by the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) and IOSH when delivering courses accredited by either of those training bodies.

 

 

Qualifications

    • Qualifications - NEBOSH Construction Certificate
    • NEBOSH or Equivalent Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
    • Formal training qualification or evidence of experience in delivering training
