What is the purpose of the role?
We are currently seeking an engaging and hands-on mobile Trainer to join our successful and innovative Health & Safety team. You will be working across the whole of the operational business, training our colleagues to be safe and compliant in their day to day responsibilities. The focus of this role will be in the delivery, to feed into the 14,000 training days we offer each year. We're always planning ahead to make sure everyone can continue to enjoy fresh water and can appreciate clean rivers. You will be supporting the operational division that supplies an extraordinary amount of water - around 18 billion litres a week, and who supports 15 million wastewater customers.

What will this role involve?
You will ideally be based in East London as many of the training sites are based on the East side of the Thames Water area, training operational site staff on a variety of H&S related practices.
What are we looking for?
Your previous experience may be in the military or you have worked in the construction, Rail, water, Health & safety sectors. You need to have L3 Award in education & Training or equivalent and be a L3/4 Assessors PETALS.
We're seeking a passionate individual that can deliver training and assessments to a high standard to our staff base; conduct on site or in centre assessments of candidate's competence; and, plan and organise work with individuals and team members.
You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, at all business levels specifically in presenting; be known to have a meticulous and diligent work ethic; and have the ability to complete and return all documentation in a timely manner.
Thames Water information and salary details
This role has a flexible base location, but there will be a requirement for extensive travel, and we are ideally looking for someone to cover the area of East London. You must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and own your own vehicle; in return you will receive car allowance. We are offering a salary of up to £34,000, depending on skills and experience.
