£21,000 - £24,500 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Serco have an exciting opportunity for Helpdesk Advisors to join our current team based at Mile End Hospital, London. Reporting into the Helpdesk Operative, you will deliver a professional and customer focused helpdesk for all soft facilities management services within East London, as well as hard facilities management service requests across several hospitals.
Your duties will include functioning as a focus and support point for information and communication between the organisation and the customer, receive and manage service centre requests via telephone, emails and self-service points. You will receive Service Centre requests from all service areas within each of the hospitals and enter details of all calls into the bespoken CAFM systems, ensuring to follow up details of action and outcome.
The helpdesk centrally coordinates requirements for all hospitals within the contract and operates on a 24/7, 365 days per annum basis.
What you'll need to do the role
You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability to communicate through telephone and emails. This is a very busy and fast paced role, so experience with time-management planning and prioritizing workloads is essential. You will have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and a good understanding of computers and systems. Most importantly you will have excellent customer care skills and a passion for providing a high-quality service to meet the needs of the service users.
