Job Title: Holiday Park Warden or Warden couple 

Location: National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham, NG12 2LU

Job Type: Fixed Term, April to October 2023

Working Hours: 30 hours per week including weekend work and on call hours. The hours will be split over the season with more hours in the summer months.

Salary: £16,255 per annum + excellent benefits including full gym membership on site and Seasonal pitch for a touring caravan.

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for Holiday Park Wardens to join us.

 

Holme Pierrepont Country Park, the home of the National Water Sports Centre has excellent water facilities, accommodation, a campsite, Outdoor Adventure Zone, Life Fitness Gym, and marvellous nature trails for cycling and walking, it is a favourite destination for families, schools, corporate clients, and individuals.

 

In this role you will operate the Holiday Park in a welcoming and safe manner in making sure it remains a beautiful, safe, and clean place for our staff and customers to work within and use the facilities.

 

You will undertake reactive and programmed maintenance, service and repair works such as assisting with the maintenance of trees, hedges and paths, including leaf collection and spraying, as well as grass cutting and litter picking, provide front line customer service in holiday park shop, patrol site for cleanliness, security and health and safety, clean customer critical facilities / areas on and around the holiday park, undertake any other reasonable duties directed by the holiday park manager and to maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public. You will also work on our reception being the first port of call for our customers.

 

 

You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities and free access to our facilities.

 

  

About You

 

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have previous experience of communicating with members of the public, as well as maintenance work and desirable that you have worked within a ground's related position or working within a holiday park / campsite environment.  

 

It is desirable that you have any Maintenance, grounds, or horticultural qualifications

 

You will have good communication and customer care skills, have a maturity and calmness to work under pressure, as well as being organised and taking pride in what you do and have good IT skills.

 

You will also need a full driving license to be considered for this role. 

 

This role could be split between a couple.
