The Job Opportunity

We are looking for an HR Advisor (Talent Management) to handle the attraction, selection, and retention of employees. Driving, supporting and contributing to a combination of HR processes across the employee life cycle, encompassing workforce planning, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, succession, and retention.

 

This role will be based in Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS), where you will be supporting all departments within DANS.

Key accountabilities

  • Develop effective talent management strategies to help identify the specific skills, experience and qualities required from new hires, ensuring the recruitment process is efficient and effective. Ensuring employees feel valued, supported and invested in helping the organization enhance its reputation and employer brand and attract and retain talent
  • Attracting employees with the right skills and competencies in the right positions to maximize their contribution to the organization, resulting in improved productivity and organizational performance. Creating a culture of performance excellence, to support the organization achieve better results, gaining a competitive advantage 
  • Working with leaders and managers to recruit and retain high potential employees to assume key roles in the organization in the future. Supporting and working closely with succession management to ensure that critical positions can be filled quickly, minimizing disruptions to business operations which guarantees business continuity
  • Identify, build, develop and evaluate talent pipelines (internal and external) and reviewing ongoing development opportunities and requirements for employees at all levels.
  • Manage employee onboarding, induction & orientation processes, including overseeing all communications, updating systems & records, reviewing procedures and conducting post-onboarding evaluations
  • Manage employee exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and handling exit clearance procedures. Manage communications to evoke positive association with the organisation upon employee exits.
  • Support the development and implementation of annual and monthly manpower planning ensure the achievement of all business needs and KPI's. 

 

What we are looking for in our candidates

We are looking for a candidate who have critical and creative thinking skills, communication and presentation skills, as well as negotiation and persuasion skills.

 

Specific requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Psychometric assessor level B (preferred)

  • Job Evaluation qualification (preferred)

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in talent acquisition within ANS or similar

  • A minimum of 7 years experience within Human Resources

  • Knowledge of ANSP structures and role requirements

  • Knowledge of employee life cycle and talent management models

  • Demonstrate ability to translate job descriptions into person specifications to support the recruitment of organisationally defined top talent

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Oracle/SAP and databases
