Human Resources Consultant

About the Role

The HR Consultant will work in partnership with a HR Business Partner providing accurate and consistent HR services, documentation and advice within defined parameters across the entire employee life-cycle. Your work will include industry agreements and organisational policy interpretation, organisational change management, grievance resolution advice and support, performance management advice, non-work related fitness for work advice and support, facilitating training sessions and supporting reporting and compliance activities. The HR Consultant is an integral part of the HR Team  delivering HR services to WA Health managers and employees at the state's largest tertiary hospital - Fiona Stanley Hospital. 

 

About You

You have demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing high quality HR advice including HR case management, grievance management, performance management, change management and general HR administration. You can engage and build partnerships with key customers and provide a customised service having regard to specific business requirements. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional values in everything you do.

 

What we're looking for:

  • HR experience working within a team environment in a busy matrix style organisation.  
  • High level ability to utilise and to quickly adapt to new HR processes and technology with ease. Provide advice and services that enable and support people to understand their people management responsibilities.
  • Ability to build relationships, establish personal credibility and demonstrate HR expertise to consistently deliver high quality and efficient customer service. 
  • Hold or be working towards a tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalence in a combination of formal education/other work experience.
  • Demonstrates forward thinking and can think clearly in an environment of ambiguity and multiple priorities.
  • Contribute to innovative people practices that support a positive culture, flexibility, pragmatism and creative problem-solving skills.
