Here at Serco we are looking for a IAG Advisor to join our Education department at HMP Dovegate a category B male establishment prison based on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border near Uttoxeter. The operational capacity is for 1100 prisoners and it takes a whole team of people to keep the facility safe, secure and in proper working order.
As an IAG Advisor with excellent communication skills you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide high quality Information, Advice and Guidance, to prisoners in custody using various methods of delivery, supporting them into positive learning and employment pathways both in custody and release.
A key aspect of the role is working with the Prison Employment Lead to develop and maintain new and existing links with internal and external agencies providing education, training, and employment opportunities. Furthermore, you must maintain accurate records of one-to-one interviews and interventions utilising both local and national systems.
Additionally, you will support the education department in the delivery and execution of key objectives.
