About the role
Reporting to the IT Service Line Lead, you will provide first & second level IT Support to the Serco business. You have experience as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders with IT enquiries, incidents, and requests and respond to them in a timely manner. You will also coordinate the installation of systems and software releases, support the data administration teams during day & night shifts, escalate security breaches and work on PC moves & builds.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A related degree or diploma course with little or no relevant work experience or
A lesser qualification (such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and/or A+ hardware Certification) with relevant work skills and experience.
A demonstrated broad knowledge of appropriate information systems and processes including and a wide range of application software including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and other applications
A demonstrated broad knowledge of application packaging in both SCCM and Intune (win32apps)
A demonstrated broad knowledge of group policy and windows scripting
A well-developed understanding of Personal Computers and peripherals
A well-developed understanding of communication technologies
Experience working in a Customer Service environment and exposure Windows 2008/12 / 7/10 in a WAN environment would be an advantage
