Key Worker Manager - HMP Fosse Way

Salary - Up to £35,000

Permanent (Full-Time, 40 Hrs)

 

Here at Serco, we are looking for a Key Worker Manager to join our new Category C Prison, HMP Fosse Way.

 

The purpose of the role is to ensure that the HMP Fosse Way Key worker scheme is compliant with all contractual obligations; that quality of delivery is monitored and reported accurately; and that key services to prisoners are delivered to expected standards.

Some of the other responsibilities of the Key Worker Manager are as follows:

 

  • To ensure a high level of security and confidentiality is maintained in relation to staff and prisoners, and that all information, both written and verbal, is treated confidentially in line with GDPR
  • Manage and oversee Quality Assurance against contractual commitments
  • To ensure all stakeholders have access to relevant communications and information regarding key working.
  • The Key Worker programme operates efficiently and effectively (where appropriate).
  • To ensure that staff have access to the relevant training required for the key worker role namely FMI and key working.
  • Ensure all employees receive an annual performance and development review, and then ensure that the objectives within the appraisal are achieved.
  • Work with all employees to foster an entrepreneurial culture which supports ideas and new initiatives to enhance our level of service deliver and cost efficiency.
  • Managing performance and disciplinary issues in accordance with Serco policy and procedures.
  • Contribute to the delivery and achievement of all performance measures, contract outcomes and locally agreed targets including KPI's/CDIs
  • Ensure that key worker delivery deadlines are met

 

What you will need to do the role

 

Essential Qualifications:

Recognised qualification in Maths and English

IT Literate

Experience in managing people & delivering a service in accordance to contractual requirements

Experience:

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages

Good working knowledge of databases e.g., P NOMIS

Demonstration of flexibility and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure

Skills and Abilities:

Able to form good working relationships

Able to work independently and as part of a busy small team

To solve issues at the earliest stage, presenting solutions to managers when required

To adhere to GDPR at all times
