Serco is contracted to provide Total Facilities Management to the Defence Academy of the UK (DA). This prestigious establishment is responsible for post-graduate education and most of the command, staff, leadership, Defence management, acquisition, and technology training for members of the UK Armed Forces and MOD Civil Servants. Serco supports the DA as the MOD's primary link with UK universities and international military educational institutions.
Serco have an exciting new role as a Lead Administrator at the Defence Academy. You'll help to ensure the smooth running of the office and monitor own workloads and those of any reporting staff. You will also be responsible for the co-ordination and control of all incoming work as directed by the customer and Team Leader.
This is a customer facing role, working in a dynamic, high-performance team within Joint Services Command and Staff College (JSCSC).
You will be working closely with the military staff and a small team of Administrators. You will often be the first point of contact for our course members and staff via various communication channels; face to face, email or via telephone.
You will be taking on a wide range of responsibilities and be expected to work independently on occasions but also with the wider team to ensure customer satisfaction is always achieved.

The Defence Academy sits within a beautiful and secure site which hosts 2 lakes and is surrounded by acres of scenic woodland.
