    Lead On-Site NDT Technician
    Base Location - Home based with expected to travel across UK 
    Permanent / Full Time  
    Salary up to £40,000 (DOE) per annum plus company car and further benefits 

     
    We're looking to recruit an experienced on-site NDT technician with hands-on experience of testing to join our Engineering Services Team. The key purpose of this role is to deliver Non-Destructive Test (NDT) services to our customers by leading on-site inspection and testing in accordance with our procedures and industry standards to meet our contractual obligations in line with customer expectations. 


    Based at home, as part of the team you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of key contracts by working on-site at our customer's locations across the UK.  As a result, you will need a proactive mindset and the flexibility to travel at relatively short notice. Overnight allowances when staying away from home will be available.

    What you'll need to do the role: 

     

    • PCN Level 1 or 2 qualified (or equivalent) in Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
    • Experience as NDT practitioner in the rail industry is desirable.
    • High level of competency and use of Microsoft Office.
    • Numerate, accurate, with a good level of literacy.
    • Ability to work autonomously and make pragmatic decisions.
    • Good timekeeping.
    • High degree of flexibility and can deal with ambiguity.
    • Flexible to travel to contracts across the UK.
