Here at VIVO, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PowerBI Developer to build and improve our suite of PowerBI reports.
You will play a vital role in enabling the business to make data driven decisions, provide crucial insights to internal stakeholders and our external clients, and create a user friendly interface for all.
The responsibilities for this role will include building automated reports and dashboards to create functional reporting suites, identifying and troubleshooting data and reporting issues, analysing complex data sets and supporting on related projects, chairing delivery team meetings as required.
This role will involve a lot of collaboration with internal stakeholders at all levels and across a variety of business functions.
Initially it will be a standalone role, however, there is scope to grow a team in the near future.
Please note, this role is subject to SC Clearance.
What You Need To Do The Job
First and foremost, you must be an experienced PowerBI Developer, with skills in BI tools and systems (such as PowerBI, SAP, Tableau, etc), developing and creating data rich dashboards, implementing Row-level Security and writing DAX expressions.
It is important that you have good working knowledge of database management, data modeling, business intelligence, SQL querying, data warehousing, and online analytical processing, the ability to drill down data and visualize it in the best possible way through charts, reports, or dashboards, a strong understanding of software development architecture as well as technical aspects, and are up to date about the best practices and advancements in development and design.
You should have excellent communication skills, and are able to document, design, and model solutions then explain, present, and discuss these with the wider teams. You should have exceptional client management skills, ana analytical and problem-solving mindset and approach, and be able to multitask effectively.
Candidates can be located anywhere in England and will work remotely, with some travel required to support the teams and activities of the business.
