An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and deliver South West Water's Acoustic Logging projects as a Leakage Project Manager. [b]This role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract.[/b]
[b]What will you be doing?[/b]
Investment in resources and assets to achieve increased visibility of flow, pressure and acoustic data is paramount to SWW's plan to increase the efficiency and application of leakage detection in AMP7. The Leakage Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation of a key strategic investment in leakage detection, monitoring and control.
Acoustic logging equipment and methodologies are becoming established as an effective way to determine potential leakage and unaccounted for water within urban areas and rural conurbations. The Leakage Project Manager will be responsible for taking the existing acoustic logging process and procedures and scaling them to achieve consistent and reliable results across the entire region.
You will produce a clear set of procedures which details the application of lift and shift and fixed network acoustic logging on the South West Water network incorporating the end to end process including area selection, field deployment and retrieval, data analysis and point of interest investigation.

*You'll be an accomplished project manager with a track record of delivering projects to time, cost and quality objectives*Experience in the Water Industry preferably in the field of leakage detection*Proven ability to plan and deliver projects aligned to operational strategies*Ability to manage and motivate resources to deliver desired business outcomes*Ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders*Sound financial awareness, able to budget, forecast and track invoicing & expenses in an accurate and transparent manner*The readiness to take responsibility for projects or issues and to be accountable for their timely delivery and quality*Enthusiasm and ability to lead by example and to project a positive and professional image of SWW with all contacts and stakeholders at all times*Ability to understand the business needs and to translate these into a shared purpose, strategy and objectives and to motivate and inspire others to work towards these.
