Job Title: Handy Person
Location: Maidstone Leisure Centre and Lockmeadow
Salary: £21700 per annum + benefits 
Hours: 40 hours per week + Call outs

In this role you will work across Maidstone and Lockmead Leisure centre and be required to consistently provide on a pre-planned, ad-hoc and reactive basis, a professional and effective minor works refurbishment, maintenance, and repair function in making sure our  Leisure contract remains a beautiful, safe, and clean place for our staff and customers to work within and use the facilities.

Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.

The successful Technician will ideally have:

• Previous experience working in a similar role (Ideally including Pool Plant)
• Experience of reactive works to Pool Plant, HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical systems
• Multi-skilled with basic Plumbing, Carpentry & Electrics
• Ability to maintain accurate records (Both Written & Electronic)
• Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
• You may be required to work outside of normal working hours and respond to out of hour's emergencies, covering 5 days out of 7.
