Salary: £50K - £60K Dependant on experience

Daniel Owen are pleased to be recruiting for a brand new Maintenance Team Manager role has become available with a leading Housing Association in South London. You will lead and ensure the efficient management of the repairs and maintenance of day to day or void properties, ensuring those properties meet the required housing and quality standards, whilst maximising resident satisfaction and contributing to business performance and financial strength.

Daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Team Manager are:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team's daily activities
  • Ensure that all activities undertaken meet the Direct Maintenance's business objectives, turnaround times and other key performance indicators and work/ quality standards
  • Effectively manage a maintenance budget and authorise spends

Requirements of a Maintenance Team Manager:

  • Experience of leading, supervising and motivating a large maintenance team
  • Knowledge of Voids and Reactive Repairs
  • Experience of implementing and maintaining good Health and Safety, including working at heights, manual handling, asbestos and day to day Health and Safety Compliance
