12-month fixed term contract, Full time Monday- Friday 08:30-17:00 with occasional OOH and w/e cover.
Scotland - HMNB Faslane, Dunbartonshire, G84 8HL- Other travel as required to Greenock & Kyle of Lochalsh.

Serco have an exciting maritime opportunity available for a Marine Superintendent to join their current team based in Scotland.
Our Marine Superintendent will provide professional leadership and management in continuing to ensure legislative and marine regulatory compliance of personnel and platforms while delivering operational outputs on behalf of the Customer and Company.
The key purpose of our Marine Superintendent is to ensure that Clyde In Port, BUTEC and allocated Out of Port vessels meet the standards and criteria required by the Company, Customer, Class and Statutory regulations and to ensure that Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) operate Company vessels in a safe, efficient and economical manner, and in full compliance with such requirements and regulations. Our Superintendent also fulfil the role of Company Security Officer (CSO) for ISPS vessels and when required will horizon scan for changes in legislation and regulations to ensure continued compliance and to manage the relationship/liaise with Regulatory and Professional Bodies, Port Authorities, Serco Maritime Training Department, other Training Providers and wider industry organisations.
