What is the purpose of the role?
The Market Systems Manager will be an experienced digital and business change professional with overall responsibility for the performance and enhancement of market systems that underpin a business unit with a £440m turnover, multimillion-pound compliance risks and ambitious customer service improvement targets. The role will ensure that market systems support and enhance front line customer service and revenue activities and remain resilient and responsive to market and business change. They will establish clear expectations, timelines, deliverables and detailed functional requirements for delivery partners to meet.

This is an embedded business role which seeks to drive enhancements to business performance by acting as a challenging and informed customer of our Digital delivery partners, and deliverer of your colleagues' business requirements for digital changes.
What will this role involve?
You will be responsible for leading the development of business cases to enhance resilience and performance of market systems to support the business.
You will establish and lead approaches to identify, clarify, prioritise and document business requirements and longer-term application and service road maps underpinning business delivery needs.
You will build and develop relationships with delivery partners and business leads to establish technical solutions, costs and benefits whilst ensuring digital partners have established effective design, delivery and testing plans.
You will own a range of initiatives to improve overall delivery of core operations and wider business performance.
The role will also involve the management of a team of business focused digital professionals to deliver against all agreed goals.
What are we looking for?
This role requires an effective understanding of information systems and data transfer operations and a track record of managing multiple stakeholders and delivery partners to deliver projects and their associated business goals and benefits. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable being responsible for both digital and business outcomes for any project and is as comfortable initiating and developing a business case for change as they are ensuring definition and delivery of detailed requirements.

The role is based at our offices in Reading offering a salary of up to £70,000 dependent upon experience.
