Home-based with occasional office-based meetings and the option to work from a Serco office when required

Our Employment, Skills and Enterprise (ESE) business provides support to citizens, from supporting the unemployed into sustainable work, to upskilling those with low or no vocational skills, so they can progress into work or improve their skills to advance.
We are currently recruiting for our team, and we are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive.

As a B2B Marketing Executive you will develop and deliver tactical plans for Serco Employment and Skills contracts, manage the delivery of marketing activity across a range of channels and audiences to ensure engagement with Serco programmes is delivered on schedule and within budget. 


Key duties include:

  • As part of the Restart team, ensure marketing collateral and brand compliance, and also advise and approve brand compliance by supply chain partners.
  • Create a range of campaign collateral including case studies, success stories, short videos to support B2B campaigns and communicate the successful delivery, impact, and social value outcomes of the programme via multimedia formats.
  • Maintaining relationships and activities from a marcomms and events perspective, with key sector bodies such as Employment Related Service Association (ERSA) and the Institute of Employment Professionals (IEP). 
  • Establish and maintain effective internal working relationships, participating when required in cross organisational projects, to ensure opportunities for integration are identified across Employment, Skills and Enterprise contracts.


What you will need to do the role:

If you are already an experienced Marketing Executive professional working within B2B or the Employment & Skills environment, then we want to hear from you! 

Ideally, you'll be degree level (or equivalent) educated specifically within marketing, digital marketing, or a related subject and / or have proven experience of delivering marketing plans and B2B campaigns in a Marketing Campaigns (or similar) role in a multi- stakeholder environment.

You'll be highly competent in the use of best practice and social media engagement strategies and a self- starter able to plan, think creatively, problem-solve, and take initiative.

Experience using a range of social advertising and email marketing platforms is essential, with Canva or similar design software being desirable.
