Marquee Foreman/site manager

Job Summary- Marquee foreman
We are looking for a Foreman to oversee marquee and tent installations and ensure quality, safety and time targets are met. The Foreman will lead and manage the team on install and derigg of the marquees. The foreman will be responsible for making sure the equipment is kept in good order to keep a high standard of work.
Candidates Duties You would be leading a team of about 10-15
Leading a smaller team during the winter time carrying out the cleaning and maintenance. You need to be motivated and be physically fit due to the nature of the job. The summer months can be long and you may need to work during the weekends as and when needed. You will be the main point of contact on site dealing directly with the customers during the build up to their events. We mainly work with 9m,12m, and 15m wide clear span marquees and 12m traditional
Candidates responsibilities

Management of Staff
Train team members
Assume responsibility for site inductions for new members of staff
Conducting Tool Box talks
To ensure all on site personnel consistently follow procedures
Provide ‘hands on’ support on-site
Mark out the site and supervise the erection and dismantling of structures
Carry out final inspections and sign off structures
Control of plant, health and safety issues whilst ensuring compliance to the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
Provide the Director with daily updates on work progress
To ensure the product is of the highest quality and meets customer requirements
Liaising with client during event ensuring good quality customer service provided at all times
To ensure warehouse kept in a clean and tidy order with all stocks accounted for
To ensure all stock kept clean

Candidates experience

Computer literate
Organisational skills / ability to multi task
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent problem solver
Excellent decision maker
Good leadership skills with the ability to delegate
Management / supervisory experience
Full UK driving license is essential

Salary: £30,000.00 to £40,000.00 /year dependent on experience for the right candidate will have access to company vehicle
