Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Wellingborough

Our client has been developing kitchen and bathroom surfaces in the UK since 1935 with the idea that everyone deserves great design whatever their budget. Through the application of smart material technology, advanced manufacturing processes and clever installation techniques, they seek to maximise the design value in every project . They now have an immediate requirement for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to be based at their site in Wellingborugh. You will  ensure that all aspects of building / plant maintenance within our clients premises and any other duties as requested by your Manager are undertaken in a safe and timely manner.

Please note you will work Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm plus one Saturday morning in 4, with a view to potentially work a double day shift at a later date.


Principal Purpose

To ensure that all aspects of building / plant maintenance within our clients premises and any other duties as requested by your Manager are undertaken in a safe and timely manner.

Principal Elements

  • You will be required to liaise with sub-contractors / machinery manufacturers for upkeep / installation relating to any works required.
  • To work as part of the maintenance team to fulfil the maintenance requirements of the Company.
  • To prioritise and ensure Health & Safety works for ongoing compliance of the Company’s Health & Safety Policy is maintained.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of team.
  • Maintain a safe and productive working area.
  • Other duties as role develops.
  • Candidates should be time served apprentices and have a minimum NVQ level 3 in engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Multiskilled engineering experience (mechanical, electrical and software)



Performance Measures

Annual appraisals to be undertaken and objectives set for the forthcoming year.
