Khadamat Facilities Management LLC is a joint venture (JV) company formed to operate and provide Integrated Facilities Management Services to the new United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain.

Your Opportunity  

Khadamat are looking for a Mason who will perform skilled masonry tasks related to the repair, maintenance, and improvement of building structures and surfaces. This includes work with brick, concrete, stone, and other materials to ensure the upkeep and durability of the facility. The Mason plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity and aesthetic appearance of the property, while adhering to safety standards and supporting ongoing facility maintenance activities.


The ideal candidate should be able to understand planned and preventative maintenance principles, wil good communication skills.

 

This role is part of the Khadamat team and will be based in Al Ain, UAE.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Carry out reactive repairs to building fabric e.g. tiles, flooring, plasterwork etc.
  • Identify areas of recurrent failure and propose methods of prevention
  • Carry out routine inspections of building fabric
  • Ensure that all buildings are safe and suitable for occupation as far as reasonably practicable
  • Liaise with other trades for planned

 

Specific Requirements

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate qualification in Building
  • Fully trained and competent in all aspects of building fabric maintenance.
  • Fully trained in all aspects of fabric maintenance
  • Ability to identify recurrent faults and suggest preventative measures
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and requirements
  • Understanding of planned and preventative maintenance principles
  • Innovative thinker
  • Able to work under own initiative
