National Lifeguard Compliance Manager

Location: Home based with extensive travel

Salary: £35,000

We are currently recruiting for a National Lifeguard Compliance Manager to join our National Aquatics Team to ensure lifeguard operational, safety and compliance standards are maintained and exceeded across all of Serco Leisure.


Reporting to the National Commercial Aquatics Manager you will be responsible for owning and ensuring that all lifeguard compliance requirements are exceeded. You will ensure that ongoing lifeguard training requirements are met and logged accordingly such as monthly training, return to work competency tests.


As part of this role, you will ensure Serco Leisure swimming pools have enough lifeguard workforce by owning the annual course calendar and working with sites to help them identify their current and future workforce needs.

What you'll need to do this role

First and foremost, you will be leading by example as a RLSS UK National Trainer Assessor and Mentor to train our future RLSS UK Trainer Assessors for qualifications such as NPLQ, NRASTC, NPSQ and FAW if required.


Holding your Level 3 First Aid in Word and Award In Education & Training is essential.


It is also desirable but not essential you to either hold or willing to work towards gaining your Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance and IBOSH/NEBOSH alongside further various RLSS UK qualifications.


This role is also subject to an enhanced DBS
