Night Duty Manager

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9pm - 8am, Weekends 8pm - 8am (4 on, 4 off rota)

Salary: £24,000 per annum + overtime opportunities and excellent benefits

 

 

Here at Lilleshall National Sports Centre our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for an Overnight Duty Manager to join the centre.

 

Lilleshall is one of Sport England`s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Lilleshall provides excellent facilities to Britain's leading sports men and women and is also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events and team-building days.

 

 

As the Overnight Duty Manager, the purpose of your role will be to manage the facility outside of daytime opening hours, ensuring that checks our carried out and monitoring the safety of the facility and general grounds are at the required standard. As part of this you will make sure that the facility and grounds are tidy and clean ready for our staff and customers for the following day to use. You will also undertake other duties as required. 

 

The role will also involve taking control and responding in the event of any emergency situation

 

  

About you

 

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Lilleshall, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when needed.

 

 

To be considered for this role it is desirable that you will have experience of facility management at a supervisory level and confidence in applying management systems, however if not, then this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to step up into a senior role. You should also have a working knowledge of Health & Safety at Work legislation and its practical application.
