£50,000-£60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)     

 

 

Here at Serco, we are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead Operational Excellence (OE) projects, engage senior stakeholders and deliver process efficiency.

 

 

Reporting directly to the OE Programme Manager, you will be a strong communicator with effective stakeholder management skills. It is key that you can hit the ground running to lead on OE projects, delivering tangible financial results.
 

 

 

As part of this you'll:

 

 

  • Engage senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create OE project business cases to justify a return on investment
  • Use OE expertise to understand current state performance, eliminate waste, reduce variation and design future state processes
  • Work with Finance to identify, measure and realise OE project benefits
  • Manage OE project deliverables, issues and communicate progress 
  • Provide OE project status reports to the governance steering committee
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
     


 

What you'll need to do the role:


 

  • Certified Black Belt, lean certification or greater than 5 years OE experience
  • OE Project management experience; engaging customers and stakeholders; project reporting, change management and process engineer experience, governance and project results
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently
  • Broad exposure to implementing OE tools and techniques into a variety of business environments including a service environment
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across a diverse community of stakeholders with good networking and influencing skills
  • BPSS Clearance or the ability to achieve it is essential
