About the role
As the leading provider of immigration services. Our services include managing detention centres, transporting and escorting people locally, domestically, and internationally, and providing support services for people while their immigration status is being resolved with government immigration departments.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Justice and Immigration, you will provide overall leadership and strategic management of the Immigration contract. Your primary focus will be on bringing innovation and dedication to the Immigration contract and instilling a culture of compliance, integrity, and operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement. You will utilise your previous experience in similar positions and industries and be held accountable for ensuring that the contract terms are met within all facilities, ensuring contract compliance at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and Post-Graduate studies in relevant related field.
At least 10 years' experience in an equivalent Senior Management position.
At least 20 years' experience in Immigration or justice or related industry.
Demonstrate continuous industry knowledge development.
Extensive operational experience and knowledge in Immigration/Corrections/Justice industry and or a similar related environment.
Superior stakeholder management skills that enable the successful influence and negotiation with internal and external counterparts.
Superior negotiation skills and the adaptability to engage and influence others.
High level of resilience and the ability to remain level-headed and objective in high stress situations.
Hold exceptional business and fiscal acumen, with a desire to question the 'standard'.
A strong understanding in the management of media and external scrutiny.
Deadline orientated with accurate and timely delivery a core necessity.
