Working Hours: 39 hours per week, 9am to 5pm between Monday to Friday and covering for Duty Manager when needed.

Salary: £24k to 28k per annum + excellent benefits + Overtime opportunities

Bisham Abbey is one of Sport England`s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Bisham Abbey provides excellent facilities to Britain's leading sports men and women. Bisham Abbey is also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.

 

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Centre ensuring effective rectification of any issues in order to meet quality and performance standards.

 

You will manage the quality delivery of the contract at the Centre, through the site management of the contract performance monitoring system managing external and internal audits and reporting as required to senior management and the client, as well as supporting the Facility Manager in delivering the site performance outcomes/outputs in accordance with the contract specification, which will require to complete a range of 'self-monitoring' inspections.

 

The role will involve strong leadership across the whole operation team to deliver key objectives and ensure the highest standards of customer service are delivered across the range of services and supporting the management team in building and maintaining positive relationships with onsite partners, neighbours, and key customers.

 

Lastly, you will ensure the operational team is complying with statutory and company processes in relation to health, safety and SMS and lead on the delivery of key accreditations e.g., Quest registration, Hospitality Assured and continuous improvement plans.

 

  

About you

 

To be considered for this role, you will have experience of facility management and confidence in applying management systems. You should also have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety at Work legislation and its practical application. You will also have experience in leisure, or a service led background.

 

You will possess a First Aid at Work Certificate and hold a NEBOSH Certificate or be able to demonstrate experience working at this level. 

 

A Level 4 Qualification in a relevant discipline such as Leisure Management or Facilities management is also desirable.
