Job type: Full Time, 6 months fixed term contract (with possibility of going permanent)
Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday
Salary: £21,785.23 per annum + Excellent benefits
Here at Lilleshall our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for an Operations Support officer to join the centre.
Lilleshall is one of Sport England`s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Lilleshall provides excellent facilities to Britain's leading sports men and women. Lilleshall is also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.
As the Operations Support officer, the purpose of your role is to support the management of the facility on a day-to-day basis ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard with safety & customer satisfaction being the priority. This will include tasks specific to the operations department such as compliance checks, specific cleaning duties and to support the Duty Managers as directed.
The role will involve the use of company vehicles on a regular basis to bring staff members to and from the site at the specified times.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts, and excellent development opportunities.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Lilleshall, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when needed.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a busy leisure environment, dealing in high volumes of customers, adults and children, however full training will be given to the suitable candidate.
Lastly, you will have a flexible approach to working hours and willingness to learn new skills and due to the driving part of the role you will hold a full UK driving license.
