Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm

 

 

VIVO have an exciting opportunity for a P2P Manager to join our friendly and successful Finance team.

 

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this role will see you manage a team of 13 finance and commercial administrators, overseeing their tasks and output, as well as ensuring there are opportunities for personal development for all direct reports. The team work remotely and to specific KPIs which will need to be monitored, with appropriate support in place where required and praise where it is due, ensuring effective performance across the team.

 

You will also be responsible for developing analytics and reports for the Finance team to track performance (prompt payment, aged WIP, processing delays, duplicate invoices, etc), implementing a supplier communications strategy to maintain strong relationships, and driving process improvements and finance transformation initiatives that add value to the business.

 

In addition to this, you will be expected to develop a centre of excellence for guided buying for the business, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline operations, support the business with any audit queries, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting, work collaboratively with the business to improve understanding and adherence to the processes and controls, driving efficiency and accuracy across the P2P function and proactively manage supplier invoice processing and queries, ensuring efficient resolution and minimising delays.

 

 

What You Need To Do The Job

 

First and foremost, you should be an experienced people manager from a P2P background, with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

We pride ourselves on our supportive working environment and as such, our P2P Manager will lead by example, ensuring all the team have opportunities to develop and that KPIs are met.

 

In terms of qualifications, it would be beneficial if you hold Accountancy qualifications, although we are happy to consider candidates who are qualified by experience.

 

It is more important that you have string working knowledge of P2P processes, demonstrable experience and skills within continuous improvement in financial processes, are able to conduct process audits and present solutions to stakeholders at all levels.

It is equally vital that you have experience of developing analytics and reports that are appropriate, accurate and user friendly.

 

This is a home based role, with occasional site based meetings in the West Midlands. As such, candidates should be based in or near the West Midlands.
