Here within our Asylum Accommodation and Support Contract an opportunity has arisen for a Partnership Manager with previous experience in managing stakeholder relationships and to act as the key point of contact within relevant localities for both internal and external stakeholders and organisations. This is a challenging role within the AASC contract that requires resilience and offers the opportunity to drive a range of improvements, with particular focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system.
The Partnership Manager will establish, promote and maintain good working relationships locally with service users, external stakeholders, organisations and agencies to enhance the performance, reputation and continuous improvement of the AASC Contracts. In addition, you will provide effective challenge and support and take responsibility for identifying reputational risks in respect of AASC delivery. You will ensure that Multi Agency Forums are in place where appropriate and take full responsibility for delivering effective communication ensuring that any Safeguarding concerns or risks identified are escalated and communicated and provide practical support in this process
As Partnership Manager you will report to and support the Head of Stakeholder Engagement and regularly engage and communicate with the Field Operations staff and SMT members providing practical support to partners. You will support the Senior Management Team and Corporate Leadership Team in organising events and propose and help develop business development ideas, preparing support material, including presentations and reports.
What you'll need to do the role:
We are looking for candidates who have Higher education to degree standard with substantial previous experience in managing stakeholder relationships and proven experience of making presentations to stakeholders with success in delivering messages effectively. Proven influencing, persuading, negotiating and leadership skills obtained within a managed service delivery organisation.
Desirably a detailed knowledge of:
You will have excellent communication skills at all levels along with strategic & operational delivery and relationships that sit within those.
Lastly, Security Clearance at CTC level (Counter Terrorism Check) and CRB clearance is required (Serco Civil Government is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office).
