Passenger Services Agent - A Shift

Full time to support a 24/7 service, Shifts 
Salary £25,602.50 per annum plus benefits 

 

At RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco proudly support the RAF and MoD, supplying around 20 different services onsite, from engine and aircraft maintenance, to fuelling and ground control services. As a Passenger Services Agent, you'll contribute enormously to the vital work carried out here. You'll also be part of the wider team, with 5,800 service personnel, 1,200 contractors and 300 civil servants on site.


Working within the Serco Passenger Services team, you will help to deliver a critical service that operates on a 24/7/365 basis.


Your duties will include:

  • Manage the passenger handling and passenger processing of all flights through the Air Terminal.
  • Manage passenger check-in for all departing aircraft.
  • Arrange for passenger bags to go through the security scanner as well as pre-positioning bags.
  • Manage the call forward to the departure lounge for all departing aircraft.
  • Management of the passenger terminal VIP lounge

 

What you need to do the role?

 

  • No experience is necessary as full training will be provided. All we ask is that you have great communication skills, a can do attitude and preparedness to meet new challenges and are committed to achieving excellent levels of customer service.
  • Please note we do require candidates to be able to drive with a Full UK licence as there maybe times you will need to escort passengers to aircrafts. Due to the courses involved in this role we also require candidates to be able to pass a colour perception test.
