Payroll Administrator

Full time (37 hours per week) Monday to Friday, 9.00 - 17.00
Here at Serco, we are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to administer payroll and pension data ensuring prompt and accurate payments to employees.
As Payroll Administrator you will deliver a high quality, customer focused service to meet the requirements of schools, ensuring the delivery of a responsive service by reacting to and meeting a range of fluctuating pressures and daily demands. Other duties include maintaining accurate records and proper written communication to the customer and other agencies. The payroll administrator should be familiar with all aspects of the Council's Payroll system and procedures. The postholder will also process payroll data including variable deductions and payments, new starters and leavers, mileage and overtime claims to meet monthly deadlines and issue monthly payslips.
We offer hybrid working options once you have competed training.
What you will need
The successful candidate must have at least one years' experience working in payroll. You must also have excellent knowledge using Microsoft Windows and Office software. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines within a performance driven office.
