Placement Officer

Do you have a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or Childcare? Are you looking to support the new generation of practitioners? We are seeking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, forward thinking Placement Officer. Based at our Aylesbury campus, this role involves working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

The successful candidate will:

  • To liaise with and support lecturers in delivering practical training and preparing students for their work placement in a variety of early years, education and health and social care settings.
  • Support curriculum staff by liaising on work experience placement issues, and work to resolve them.
  • Keep accurate records of placement locations, health and safety, assessment and support visits and student attendance.
  • To carry out assessments of students in the workplace ensuring regular reviews of students' progress and achievement.
