The Electromagnetic compatibility team:
The Principal Engineer - Electrical Engineering (EMC) shall provide support to engineering delivery teams in defining electromagnetic requirements, undertaking specialist testing of systems, sub systems and components, and rectifying EMC non-compliances in support of achieving compliance for EMC design.
The team will be supporting our ongoing submarine programmes, conducting EMC qualification and testing throughout the engineering lifecycle from concept through to in-service support. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to work within our purpose built, state of the art test facility and to help develop and support this through the accreditation process. You will be fully supported with further education and training, such as recognised Safety & People Skills courses, Chartership along with EMC Military courses, enabling you to grow your skillsets within the role. This will in turn assist with career development.
