To support Serco's continuous growth and delivery of world class services, we are currently bidding for a new contract in Saudi Arabia and we are looking for a Privatization Consultant.


The hiring for this position is subject to contract award.


Key accountabilities

The Privatization Consultant's role will be to support the Project Lead and a team of consultants in the development of privatization processes and plans for a portfolio of projects for an esteemed ministry located in Saudi Arabia. The delivery of the contract will entail providing advisory services to support the ministry's privatization objectives, services and projects in order to encourage private sector participation. Support in the development of a knowledge transfer management programme. Provide a study of the current status of privatization projects for the ministry. Study the available opportunities for privatization in the ministry's sectors. Development of a plan that includes a mechanism and work procedures to ensure the integration of the supply chain and achieve the required synchronization in the privatization projects. Report to study and review the documents of privatization projects according to the number of projects in the privatization plan.


What we are looking for in our candidates:

We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and proven ability to effectively communicate (in both oral and in written form) with all levels of management, employees, customers, contractors and other stakeholders. Ability to motivate and manage change as well as work in a multi discipline and multi-functional team. Demonstrated commitment to the processes of continuous improvement and quality customer service.


Specific requirements

  • 10 years experience in the privatization and partnership between public and private sectors.
  • Bachelors' Degree in a related field.
  • Proficient in the use of PC, spreadsheets and other software applications.
  • Knowledge of both international and local (KSA) statutory and legislated requirements.
  • Knowledge of international best practice in privatization projects.
