Description of role:

To assist Procurement functions in all administration activities and duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with operational and commercial teams to ensure that the administration of purchase orders is at all times optimised. Assist with the process of timely and accurate scheduling of materials in accordance with site requirements. Manage and maintain invoices on hold to a minimum. Understand the causes of on hold invoices. Support and implement process changes.

  • Answering phone calls from operatives and operational staff

  • Raising of material purchase orders

  • Processing requisitions

  • Liaising with external suppliers to obtain quotations

  • Performing all aspects of administration including admin support to the wider Procurement Team (Material, Subcontract and Fleet)
