Here at Serco, we are seeking a Procurement Operations Delivery Manager to provide global management and expertise to the creation, implementation and management of high-performing Procurement Operations services including Supplier Onboarding, Contract Administration, Procurement Helpdesk, Procurement Data Management and PCard Management.


In this key role, you will be responsible for operationalising and continually improving fit-for-purpose and affordable purchase to pay processes and services that support and enable Procurement policy and strategy, ensuring effective controls. This includes operational responsibility for management of internal Procurement Operations and Serco's suppliers, ensuring that services are delivered compliantly to contract and policy, achieving target business outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction and within budget.

As part of this you'll:


  • Hold responsibility for the design, implementation and delivery of Procurement Operations services and processes globally ensuring that operational procurement targets are achieved and continuously improved
  • Develop and manage a performance management framework incorporating objectives, metrics, targets, regular reporting, management review and action plans

  • Work closely with the Sourcing & Category Management team to implement and maintain appropriate source-to-pay process
  • Manage the global MyPurchasing Hub team operating across UK&E, ME and ASPAC. Including the outsourced processes

What you'll need to do the role:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Procurement/Finance experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong business acumen, able to understand complex business needs and drivers and identify ways for Procurement to address
  • A global and strategic mindset while being flexible to local differences and creative to encourage and seek innovative approaches
  • Track record of developing and maintaining strong senior stakeholder relationships
