You can help us protect the country in a number of divisions. Whichever one you join, you'll be part of a highly capable team, delivering a wide variety of unique and exciting projects. At level 5, you'll lead projects and inspire your own team, while at level 6, you'll provide, strategic direction and a broad view of projects and capabilities.
This division works with front-line commands and wider government, providing all kinds of advice and solutions. We make sure the UK's mission and weapons systems are cutting-edge by monitoring the latest technologies.
Chemical, Biological and Radiological Division
From chemical warfare detection systems to the latest advances in virology, this division provides an integrated chemistry, biology and radiation science capability.
Cyber and Information Systems Division
Technical excellence is at the heart of this division, delivering projects with the potential to make an enormous impact. They span areas such as space, cyber defence and data science, contributing to defence's mission.
Counter Terrorism and Security
This division provides innovative science and technology (S&T) solutions for CTS operations. Specialist practitioners work in state-of-the-art facilities and deal with high density health and safety hazards such as explosives, chemicals, lasers, hostile locations, industrial and Asbestos. We often work to tight deadlines.
Defence and Security Analysis
This division helps the Ministry of Defence and wider government to make decisions about UK Defence and Security. We bring together international partners in industry and academia and we operate at the forefront of defence and security research and innovation.
These are roles for experienced professionals. You should be a skilled project leader who's used to working with multi-disciplinary teams across the project lifecycle. You'll therefore know all about quality assurance and financial planning as well as project reporting. And crucially, you'll be adept at working with others and making the most of relationships. Articulate both in person and on paper, you'll expertly manage contacts and mentor more junior colleagues.
