What you'll be doing:

  • Fully understanding of company vision, strategic aims, and objectives, and hold the ability to demonstrate and inspire core business behaviours
  • Demonstrating and maintaining quality of the teams work by monitoring and supervision/review
  • Attending operations build meeting and plan of the day/night meetings and direct resource as required
  • Deputising for S5 delivery Quality leader when required
  • Demonstrating the ability to build good working relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Effectively managing holiday's overtime to support delivery
  • Effectively managing radiography equipment and consumable requirements
  • Ensuring labour and overtime records are accurate and booked to the correct work order as required

Your skills and experiences:

Essentials:

  • PCN Level 2 Radiographic Inspection / PCN 2 Basic Radiation Safety
  • Good communication skills / stakeholder management / computer skills
  • Ability to operate Radiographic Equipment and translate data

Desirables:

  • Recognised Qualification in supervision
  • Understanding of Ionising Radiations Regulations IRR2017

The QC Team Leader - Radiography team:

As a QC Team Leader, you will be working as part of a team of multi discipline Radiographers assuring the weld quality on Astute and Dreadnought Class Submarines meets design intent. You will be working closely with Operations, other Quality Inspection Teams, Engineering, Planning, MOD(N) & RR. The department fits into a wider quality function, covering multi disciplines from Inspection to Governance

This role is extremely interesting, Challenging & Rewarding the work is different from day to day and the tasks are varied and can be extremely complicated.
