Responsibilities;
- 1 year Fixed Term Contract opportunity for a Product Assurance Engineer.
- Involve collaborating closely with Manufacturing and Design teams in the UK
- Providing consistent guidance, whilst ensuring the Customer interests are in focus.
- You'll be working on a high profile Program for UK Defence Sector
- Required to co-ordinate with multiple programme leads to ensure work is completed on time and to the required Quality.
- Situated within the Product Assurance Program Team, acting as the internal Customer for manufacturing output.
- This is a Quality Assurance Role and not a Quality Control Role, meaning our team uses the 'Process Approach' defined in AS9100.
- Focussing on evidence based compliance collated throughout the Manufacturing Process.
- Work on multiple tasks at any one time, a proactive attitude is a must have in this role.
- Generates accurate and timely monthly metrics for reporting into Product Assurance Reviews.
- Managing closure of design related Non-Conformities using strict criteria
- Managing Quality related risks and Supplier product acceptance.
Experience needed;
- Proactive attitude
- Experience of Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Experience of identifying and managing risks
- Experience of Customer liaison and end user Product acceptance
- Experience of managing Non-Conformance review panels
- Experience with leading improvement initiatives
- Awareness of AS9100 and the 'Process approach'
