Quantity Surveyor Role

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for all cost control and reporting of costs across various projects including estimating responsibilities on new bids. Working with the Commercial Director and General Manager you are responsible for valuations, planning budgets and costing on budgets as well as value recovery, cost control and cash management from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Management on all Projects as required.
  • Assisting in contract negotiation, processing initial enquiries and leads.
  • Preparation and agreement of both main contractor and sub-contractor valuations.
  • Risk management and capital trend analysis.
  • Cost/value reconciliations and ensuring standard costs are accurate.
  • Reporting to Management on all Projects as required.

The ideal Quantity surveyor would have experience in Dry lining, be able to measure up on site to provide accurate costs for tender and have a clear understanding of drawings.

Salary is negotiable dependadnt on experience so this is open for discussion.
