Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join the current team based at The Royal London Hospital. The Receptionist provides a helpful front of house service receiving, directing and guiding relatives and visitors in a professional, polite, and informative manner.
As the Receptionist you will maintain a clear, clean and tidy reception area whilst greeting visitors - answering enquiries face to face and by telephone and advising members of the public. You will ensure all required records and paperwork are accurately completed and update telephone numbers and email addresses, always maintaining confidentiality of information.
You will participate as a full member of the team, through supporting and carrying out training, working flexibly as required to cover other members of the team including ID badge duties, and receptionist helpdesk enquiry duties.
What you'll need to do the role
You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent customer service, IT and written/verbal communication skills. Lastly, you will need to be organised, empathetic, personable and have a passion for helping others!
