Are you a business continuity, or emergency planning professional interested in helping organisations build their resilience and crisis management capabilities? The Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College is seeking a motivated individual with a background in these fields to support of a range of responder organisations and operators of critical infrastructure.
The Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College is the UK centre for Resilience Learning and Development. We provide high quality services that build the resilience capabilities of individuals, teams, and organisations in the UK and overseas.
The College manages training and exercising programmes in support of resilience professionals working in a diverse group of statutory responder organisations, government departments and infrastructure operators. These long-term programmes cover a wide spectrum of activities, from training on the basics of emergency response and recovery, to master classes on organisational resilience. We also develop and deliver exercises that build competence and confidence, evaluate arrangements or explore concepts. In all cases, the goal is to build the resilience of the organisation concerned so that they are better able to prevent and prepare for emergencies and to respond to and recover from those adverse events that do occur.
Located at our lovely campus in North Yorkshire, we are looking for an individual to work closely with programme sponsors and to manage College resources assigned to these programmes - to ensure activities meet the evolving needs of the organisations concerned.

Security clearance
This role will require you will be required to complete National Security Vetting for Security Clearance. You will normally need to have been resident in the UK for at least 5years prior to the date of application. If you do not meet the above requirements, you may still be considered if, for example:
You've been serving overseas with HM Forces or in some other official capacity as a representative of HM Government
You were studying abroad
You were living overseas with parents
In such cases you will need to be able to provide referee cover for the period(s) of residence overseas. The duration of overseas residence and the country of abode will also be taken into account.
