Reward Manager - 6 Months Fixed Term

Your Opportunity
We are looking to hire a Reward Manager on 6 months fixed terms contract who will be responsible for leading on the development and managing the implementation and delivery of best practice Reward programmes across Serco Middle East. Key accountabilities include salary review processes, market benchmarking, pay deck development, job evaluation, benefit portfolio management, leadership remuneration, incentive schemes and all Reward policy and processes.
The ideal candidate should have experience of operating with highly confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy experience with developing business cases and presentations for senior stakeholders while influencing various internal parties with a data driven approach to business decisions and managing challenging team environments with conflicting opinions on pay and reward in a diplomatic and professional manner
This role will be based in our corporate office in Dubai.
Key accountabilities
- Subject matter expert accountable for recommending efficient, effective, market appropriate and cost optimised Reward solutions to ensure attraction and retention of the best talent to ensure delivery of business objectives
- Lead Reward projects which require project management, liaising with multiple stakeholders for collective decision making, project design and following through to execution and implementation of Reward changes across the business
- Lead on bids from a reward perspective providing inputs on reward strategies, pay and benefit recommendations ensuring market competitiveness while maintaining cost efficiency and representing Reward throughout the Bid process, including attendance at key governance meetings
- Review and recommend new reward strategies for new industries and geographical area's and recommend pay elements based on market intelligence, benchmarking and legal compliance
- Create new salary structures that serves business requirements through market data collection, intensive analysis, presenting findings to business stakeholders to ensure alignment and prepare and action communication plans
- Provide advice and data analysis to other departments, such as finance, bid and assurance to ensure reward practices are aligned to budget, legal and quality requirements.
Specific requirements
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a Reward Subject Matter Expert or similar
- Experience working in the Middle East required, or an emerging market considered
- Comprehensive knowledge and demonstratable track record in management of reward programmes and initiatives for a diverse business across multiple geographies
- Excellent experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information and managing high volumes and complex data
- Experience of operating with highly confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably within HR or with a numerical, statistical, or analytical focus
- Master's Degree / MBA preferrable
- Professional HR qualifications desirable (CIPD, SHRM etc)
- Job Evaluation Certificate, Hay Korn Ferry is preferred
- Project Management Qualification desirable
- Six Sigma certification is a strong preference (yellow belt/green belt/black belt).
