Risk and Compliance Manager - London Cycle Hire

Location: London, N1 9PT

Salary: £45,000-£50,000

Permanent, 40 hours per week

 

 

Established in 2010, Santander Cycles (London Cycle Hire) is the flagship depot in Serco's Micromobility sector, with 12,300 bikes and 500 ebikes available to rent across 800 stations and 21,000 docking points around London. We are dedicated to supporting the Mayor of London's active travel objectives to increase walking and cycling by providing residents and visitors with the means for sustainable, green travel options.

 

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Manager to join our succesful and friendly team.

 

Reporting to the Contract Manager, this role will see you take on the responsibility of being the Risk Process Expert for the contract, maintaining and coordinating the Risk Register. 

You will also be responsible for managing the resolution of all Incidents, developing, implementing and testing the Business Continuity Plan and proactively identifying and analysing the cause of incidents.

 

You will lead internal and external matters relating to insurance, produce decarbonisation and sustainability plans, represent London Cycle Hire at all internal and external audits and ensure contract compliance with contractual obligations, SMS and relevant legislation.

 

Additionally, you will formulate annual budget plans for your area, ensure availability and utilisation of all contract vehicles are optimised and maintain an up to date vehicle replacement plan, maintain the London Cycle Hire documentation management system and all operational contract documentation, and diarise relevant reviews.

 

 

    About You

     

    First and foremost, you will be an experienced Risk Manager from a compliance background, with proven people management skills.

     

    Strong communication, process mapping and business process re-engineering skills are essential, as well as the ability to work with changing priorities and multiple projects and experience of working with Document Management Systems.

     

    It is important that you have a high level of competence with MS Office and MS Visio.

     

    This role will require you to provide some on call support alongside the other members of the senior management team on a rota basis to include weekends and evenings. Please only apply if you are happy to do so.
