You and your team 


As the Senior Manager for Risk Event Rapid Response, you will lead small team responsible for rapid response, resolution and the prevention of business incidents and risk events. As well as this you will drive timely and qualitative compliance to 1,2 and 3LOD actions to reduce the risk profile.


In your day to day role you will: 


Lead COO and COO Supplier response, evaluation, prioritisation, implementation and resolution of risk events and incidents 

For risk events lead and for IT incidents oversight and challenge of problem management, read across to ensure reduction/elimination of repeat risk events and events caused by same theme 

Provide oversight and challenge of 1,2,3 LOD actions to reduce risk profile 

Ensure owners of 1,2,3 LOD management actions (from audits, risk assurance reviews, control testing) meet deadlines and quality 

Manage a stakeholder network effectively to deliver results in a collaborative way, whilst maintaining the integrity of the overall function and COO 

Manage a Team of 3 direct reports 


What you’ll bring to the team 


As a Senior Member of the First Line Risk and Control team you will bring an In depth knowledge and expertise of Risk Management within financial services.  To be successful in this role, the following skills and experience is required: 


Extensive experience working within an Operations environment 

Proven track record working in a senior risk manager or equivalent role 

Proven track record in risk event and incident management 

Excellent knowledge of 3rd Party providers to COO including contractual set up, governance and routine operations 

Ability to assess and respond to critical and high priority problems under pressure
