Job title: Sales and Booking Administrator

Location: National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham, NG12 2LU

Job type: Permanent

Working Hours: 39 hours per week, flexible hours but usually 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, however evening work up until 8pm and occasional weekend work will be required.

Salary: £23,000 per annum + OTE up to £30,000

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Sales and Bookings Administrator to join our team.

 

Holme Pierrepont Country Park, the home of the National Water Sports Centre has excellent water facilities, accommodation, a campsite, Outdoor Adventure Zone, Life Fitness Gym and marvellous nature trails for cycling and walking, it is a favourite destination for families, schools, corporate clients, and individuals.

 

The main purpose of this role is to process bookings from our customers taken via telephone and email.

 

On a day-to-day basis you will perform the following duties:

  • Maintain a full product knowledge of the services available at the Centre and advise customers accordingly
  • Proactively seek sales opportunities
  • Deliver on sales targets
  • Adopt a pro-active approach to continuous service improvement
  • Contribute to planning strategies
  • Enter booking information on various IT systems
  • Conduct phone calls with potential booking parties
  • Respond to customer enquiries
  • Process payments for bookings

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Holme Pierrepoint, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required.

 

Ideally you will have experience working within a busy administration environment and have good customer care and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines and remain calm and assured under pressure.
