The Role

Leading from the front in driving sales engagement with existing customers for our clients public (Azure/AWS) and hybrid managed cloud solutions.

We are seeking a successful sales leader who has the skills, experience and track record to work with their team to develop and drive sustained growth. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate clear leadership, not just of their direct reports, but of the team of supporting individuals who enable sales to our clients' customers.

Key responsibilities:


Lead a team of Account Managers with responsibility for their growth, personal development and training


Drive daily, monthly and quarterly cadence within the team structure


Align closely with the product and solutions engineering teams to develop sales strategies across our clients' portfolio


Generation of net new revenue through driving and developing sales strategies and campaigns


Demonstrate ability to work closely with strategic partners


Share and build customer references across the portfolio and within targeted verticals


Demonstrate solution selling capabilities


Create a thriving and collaborative team ethic structured around personal and shared success

Other qualities specific to this role include:

  • Has a minimum of 5 years demonstrable, successful experience of selling the business value of complex IT solutions and services in a highly competitive market
  • Has demonstrable knowledge of public cloud products (particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS) and service and can clearly articulate the business case for the cloud
  • Is likely to have attained competencies/accreditations in Azure and/or AWS propositions, products and sales
  • Has a passion for technology and in identifying opportunities to add value to our customers business through our clients Cloud professional and managed services
  • Is experienced in applying strategic account and campaign planning methodologies to achieve continuous revenue growth
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills to engage at multiple levels within customer businesses

Key competencies:

  • 2+ years managing a team of 3 or more direct reports
  • Proven capability to lead and deliver revenue retention and growth within an existing customer base.
  • Skilled in ensuring processes, KPIs, and sales guidance are meticulously adhered to within the team
  • Proven ability to convey the value proposition of key products and services coupled with the ability to teach others to do this
  • Relentless drive to achieve results, strong-willed and motivating
  • Metrics-driven & process oriented
  • Team-oriented. Focused on what's right for the business with an ability to build deep relationships and earn the respect of the team and other teams
  • Strong, decisive, and action-oriented leadership style; ability to make, communicate and take accountability for decisions
  • Creates strong morale, good spirit in the team and brings fun to the workplace; shares wins and successes fostering open dialogue
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Microsoft and AWS sales teams to grow our clients relationship stature, lead generation and co-sales opportunities.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of working with strategic public cloud technology partners like AWS and Microsoft that is familiar and experienced in their ecosystem(s), sales models and products and solutions.

You will be an outgoing, experienced sales manager who is commercially astute and technically aware. You will understand the processes of selling to enterprise organizations and know how to articulate the business value benefit of technology and services sales.
