Why is this Security Engineer position a great opportunity?
Due to the growth and maturing of our Managed Services department, we are looking to expand our dedicated Security Team at Infinity Group. This is an excellent opportunity to develop processes and systems that ensure our customer's infrastructures are fully security compliant and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
What skills and working characteristics should this person have?
- Working knowledge and experience of Security based solutions.
- Working towards and/or attained Security certifications, must have experience in a security role previous.
- O365 Security Solutions Defender for Business administration and response.
- Analyse, interrogate and evaluate data.
- Incident investigation, and response leveraging different security products
- Vulnerability Management and Remediation.
- EDR Detection and Response Defender/Sophos
- To maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of cyber security issues/best practices and modern technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring including security breaches and identifying issues both pro and retroactively.
- Understanding of GDPR, CIS, NIST CSF, Cyber Essentials Plus along with experience in implementation.
- Knowledge in Infrastructure and Networking Technologies
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
As a Secruity Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Responsible for patch compliance of all customers devices according to industry standards
- Monitoring of security vulnerabilities in our security operations centre
- Rollout of Antivirus baselines and applications
- Oversee security, governance, risk and compliance audits
- Develop processes, policies, guidelines, and procedures for Information Security
- Provide information security awareness training to identified personnel.
- Implementing Firewalls Security Watchguard/Cisco ASA best practices
- Incident investigation, and response
