5 over 7, Shift Patterns are 6am to 2pm, 2pm till 10pm and 10pm till 6am
Salary: £21,814 to £23,820 per annum + company benefits
About the Role:
Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team based at Wishaw General Hospital, site has 663 beds covering approx. 67,000spm
You will report directly to the Security Duty Manager and will be responsible for providing high visibility and regular foot patrols within Trust premises as an effective deterrent in the protection of the Barts Health Trust property and assets. In tandem with high visibility patrolling, the Security Officer will provide a reassuring presence to all colleagues, visitors and patients.
As The Security Officer you will act as the first line emergency response to any given security situation and effectively control and monitor the access to the Trusts premises and where necessary examine documentation and identification to ascertain the authenticity and authority to gain access to certain areas. When required, you will assist and escort visitors and Trust colleagues to their destinations within the Trust complex.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have credible industry experience as a Security Officer gained in the corporate and/or Healthcare environment. The security officer will hold an appropriate SIA Security, Door Supervisor License - ideally supported by a CCTV license.
