Your Opportunity  

We are looking to hire a Senior Arboriculture Consultant who will provide consulting and support to an esteemed organization to activate and operate one of the largest parks located in KSA where the project aims to contribute to improving the quality of life for the city as well as achieving KSA's national vision.

 

The park under consideration will offer 3 key strategic benefits. Firstly it will improve the quality of life of citizens, residents and visitors. Secondly, it will contribute to the socio-economic development of the city, and finally it will appreciate the value, quality and range of real estate in and around the area surrounding the park. The park will serve as the host for a range of exciting public destinations, including entertainment, iconic cultural developments, retail and leisure functions.

 

The ideal candidate should have the ability to multi-task and manage various tasks, good communication skills, Excellent organisation, time management and prioritizing skills. 

 

This role is part of our Advisory team and will be based in KSA.

 

The hiring for this role is subject to contract award

 

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Further develop and implement the existing Tree Management System including plant coding, inventory management, Tag numbering, GPS location, growth and health monitoring, Tree species, size and girth, risk zone analysis to develop a comprehensive arboricultural management platform at the site

  • Provide all the skill set required to further implement, monitor, and control the Tree Management System and aligned with tree maintenance services.

  • Provide all required services for preparing specialized tree establishment (Nurseries to open grounds) guide.

  • Provide techniques for Nursery successful propagation of selective plants from the client.

  • List and propose best Nursery systems, materials, practices to meet the needs of client's plant replacement needs and budget assessments.

 

Specific Requirements 

  • Minimum 20 years of experience

  • Qualifications: Degree in Arboriculture or relevant

  • International experience in Landscape, Horticulture and Parks Management

  • Certification: ISA Certified preferable
